Meinl Artisan Edition cajons are handcrafted in Spain under the care of master instrument maker Jose Hernandez Diaz. The craftsmanship results in a percussion instrument that gives the player more than what they put into it; their refined sound and feel speak for themselves!
Meticulous and detailed care has been taken to select the finest wood combinations, sculpt the playing surface and body, and hand-wound the internal metal strings to create an unmatched, sensitive snare effect. Every tiny detail of these instruments has been designed and engineered to achieve a sound quality and playing feel unmatched by any other cajon.
