Tuning Hammer

The Meinl Percussion Djembe Tuning Hammer is a tool to make fast pitch adjustments on rope tuned djembes. Tapping the hammer on the small looped sections of rope securing the head to the rim of the drum will tighten the tension. This raises the pitch of your djembe and can be done quickly. Great for on-the-spot tuning adjustments. Made of Baltic birch wood.
