Anup Sastry and Meinl created a signature stick that’s large but agile. Anup’s drumstick is based on our Heavy 2B model with increased length, medium taper, and light weight. This gives the drumstick incredible reach and power along with a lighter touch so it doesn’t feel sluggish. An extra coat of thin lacquer increases grip.

I've always wanted a stick that's slightly longer and thicker than an average 2B, but I didn't want it to feel sluggish or super heavy.
